Novel Diversions Book Club

Novel Diversions is a book discussion group for readers who want to enhance their reading experience with spirited and friendly conversation. This month we will be discussing The Garden of Small Beginnings by Abbi Waxman.

Books & Babies for Pre-walkers

Develop baby's pre-literacy skills as well as physical, social, and mental development. This storytime introduces a love for books, song, movement, rhythm and rhyme. Improve motor, sensory and social skills during free play time, which also provides an opportunity for both babies and parents to socialize. Books & Babies is also about parents as you bond and learn with baby as well as meet other parents in the community. This program is for babies up to 18 months old, with a parent or caregiver, and lasts 20-30 minutes. No registration required.

Toddler Tales Storytime

These 30 minute programs introduce age-appropriate books and stories. We also incorporate action rhymes, songs, and movement to help support your toddler’s developing literacy in fun and exciting ways. This program is suggested for toddlers, ages 18-36 months, with a caregiver. No registration required.

Preschool Pals Storytime

These 30 minute programs are designed to promote language, listening, and pre-reading skills by offering vocabulary development, experiences with a variety of literature, and participation in language-related activities. Hear stories, sing songs, and develop the skills needed to become a successful reader. This program is suggested for children, ages 3-5, with a caregiver. No registration required.

Teen Advisory Board at Sharon Forks Library

TAB is back at Sharon Forks!
Looking for a fun and easy way to earn volunteer hours? Want to help your community while meeting new people? Do you want to gain leadership experience and have a say in what happens at your library? The Teen Advisory Board (TAB) is your answer!
Join us for an informational session and learn about the changes coming to TAB for the 2018-2019 school year. This session is open to all interested teens. It is also open to interested 5th graders who will be 6th graders beginning in fall 2018.
