Busy Builders

Let's build something together! Playing with LEGO and other building blocks can help develop your child's cognitive learning and social skills! Every Friday morning we will set out a collection of kid-friendly building blocks for an engaging and educational drop-in playtime. You bring your creativity, we'll provide the rest!

This program is for children birth-5, with a caregiver. Drop-in anytime!

Read, Build, Play

Read, Build, Play is an interactive story time that encourages development of early literacy in preschoolers. The program is designed for children ages 2-5, but all ages are welcome. Read, Build, Play is approximately 45 minutes long and includes stories, music, activities, and play time with a variety of blocks including Duplo Legos - all related to a creative theme. Advance registration is not required.

Preschoolers @ Post - KidCraft

Educate and entertain your little learner, aged 3-5, at the Post Road Library. Join us on Fridays for a variety of preschool play each week. Throughout the month we will offer a multicultural class, center-based play, science and STEM for the preschool set and a craft day, perfect for little fingers and growing imaginations! Program designed for ages 3-5 only. No registration required.

Masterminds LEGO® Lounge

Bring your best Lego build ideas to our Masterminds Lego® Lounge each Friday this fall. We will offer creative challenges for your child to tackle using 100 pounds of traditional Lego® blocks, Duplo® blocks and giant building bricks! No registration required. Space is limited so arrive early. For grades K-5.

Mad Hatter's Tea Party - A Murder Mystery!

Tea and murder will be served up at our third annual Mad Hatter’s Tea Party! This year, someone has been killed in Wonderland! Can you figure out whodunit? Wear your most fabulous Alice in Wonderland themed costumes and join us for a night of mystery. Interested in playing one of the suspect roles? Please email Ms. Lisa at echolsl@forsythpl.org by Monday, April 2 to be considered for a part! Parents, this is an after hours event. Please plan to drop your teen off at the branch and pick them up at 8:00. For middle and high school students only. Please register to attend.
