The Mailbox Books program is provided to cardholders of the Forsyth County Public Library who are homebound due to age, chronic illness, physical disability, or condition. Patrons who experience a condition that temporarily prevents them from visiting the library are also eligible for the service.

Requirements for service are a current library card in good standing and a completed application for the program. Patrons who need large type books or audio books must submit an additional certification form.
