Authors on Automatic Purchase PlanWeb page allowing single-click searches of the Forsyth County Public Library online catalog for authors whose new titles are automatically purchased by the Library. Includes an option to search only for items on order by that author and allows you to place hold requests on the titles.
Book Index with ReviewsRecords of in-print, out of print, and forthcoming titles for adults and children in a wide variety of formats, some with full-text reviews.
BookFlixAnimated classic picture storybooks, some in Spanish, paired with nonfiction eBooks that connect the fictional story to related facts. You can read the books or have them read to you. Puzzles, games, approved web links, teacher resources, and author biographies are included.
Literary Reference CenterLiterary criticism, author biographies, full-text articles, plot summaries, synopses, work overviews, and images of key literary figures. Also includes the full text of many classic and contemporary poems and short stories, and many classic novels.
Literature Online Reference EditionCriticism and reference works for British and American poetry, drama and prose.

Full-text poems and short stories (some with explanations), as well as essays, plays, and speeches, from all time periods and nationalities.
netLibrary (full-text electronic books)Access to thousands of electronic books (eBooks), including reference books, scholarly monographs, publications of many university presses, and consumer books. It is possible to perform full-text searches of a single book or thousands of volumes simultaneously, or browse topic categories. Titles may be previewed on-screen briefly. In order to "check out" books for longer periods, each user must create a personal user name and password.

NoveList K-8Elementary and middle school readers can find books similar to other books they have enjoyed, look for a book about a particular subject or by a plot description, and search by series name. There is a Teacher Resources section that includes booklists, book talks, classroom guides, and curriculum guides on a wide range of topics and themes.
Online Book ClubBook excerpts by email. Each day you’ll receive a 5-minute portion of a book. By the end of the week, you’ll have read 2-3 chapters.
