The Forsyth County Library welcomes
people of all ages and abilities.
Whether you’re looking for the latest articles on a
medical condition or a
picture book to read to your granddaughter’s third-grade class;
whether you’re doing
financial plans or travel plans; whether you want to set up your
first e-mail account or search
genealogy or
local history
resources, the Library has something for you!
Seniors may be especially interested in these
collections and services:
-
Large print books and
recorded books (on CD) make reading easier on the eyes.
-
Mailbox Books, a free service
which allows homebound patrons to take advantage of many library
services without leaving home.
-
You can
place a hold on library materials from home and be notified when they
are ready for you to pick up.
-
Selecting books to share with grandchildren is easy with our large picture
book collection. Search our catalog at
http://catalog.forsythpl.org.
-
Our information specialists are available to answer questions about finding
and using materials. You can even Ask a
Librarian a question online.
-
If you are new to using computers and the Internet, or if you want help
using the online library catalog or other resources, you can sign up for a
free one-on-one Appointment with a Librarian to get you started. Please call
the Information Desk at 770-781-9840 to learn more about your library.
