Construction News Pipes Delivered for New Underground Retention System Share Written By Paula Glover Tags Construction News 2017-03-30 It's been a busy and productive week for construction crews working on the Sharon Forks Library. Plumbing and electrical rough-in will be completed this week in preparation for the entire concrete slab to be poured over the weekend. Three HVAC units will be temporarily relocated. The power supply for the existing building will also be relocated. Patrons may have noticed large pipes for the underground retention system appearing on the site this week. It will take 20 truckloads of pipe to complete the system and installation has already begun. When the system is complete, Mt. Sharon Springs (as we jokingly refer to the great dirt mountain) will be dismantled to cover the pipes and serve as the foundation for construction on the new parking lot to begin. We expect steel framing to begin arriving next week and deliveries will be spread over several days. After that, the new building will begin to take shape. We appreciate your patience during the construction process and we look forward to seeing you at the library!
