The Great Georgia Pollinator Census is a citizen science project created by the University of Georgia where Georgians count the insects that land on a chosen pollinator plant for 15 minutes and put the insects into one of eight categories (carpenter bee, bumble bee, honey bee, small bee, wasp, fly, butterfly/moth, or other insects). The project is designed for any Georgian to participate and make a difference in pollinator conservation! Forsyth Master Gardeners will be on hand to help and explain the census. No registration is required.
