Homeschool families and elementary students are invited to dig into Georgia history with a hands-on exploration of the Georgia Gold Rush.

Young prospectors will learn how gold was discovered in Dahlonega, explore the Mohs Hardness Scale to test minerals like a real geologist, crack open the mystery of geodes and try their hand at panning for gems. 

No registration is needed. This program is intended for elementary-aged children and their families.
