Denmark Meeting RoomWe are excited to welcome Scott Douglas Vaughan to the Denmark Library to celebrate his new release, The Double X, a western novel inspired by a short story he wrote in fifth grade as a student at Cumming Elementary in 1970.
About the Novel
In 1880, five outlaws stumble upon a fortune in gold. As they scatter south along separate journeys to Arizona territory, their paths all point toward Silvertown, a settlement supporting the massive ranch—The Double X, ruled with unexpected grace by the affable J. Knox Pike Jr. But one of the outlaws is being hunted—relentlessly—by a ruthless Montana cattle baron whose desire for justice becomes an obsession that leads to madness.
