Forsyth County Public Library is excited to host author Lisa Wingate for its 11th Forsyth Reads Together event designed to get Forsyth County reading and talking about the same book. Lisa Wingate is the #1 New York Times Bestselling Author of thirty novels. The book selection for 2024 is the bestselling Before We Were Yours. A gripping story of child abduction and exploitation, Before We Were Yours is even more compelling when you realize it is based on the true crime story of the Tennessee Children's Home Society. 

Neighbors Reading with Neighbors

Forsyth Reads Together engages readers across the community in discussions, educational events, and author talks focused on a single book selection. Sharing a book with our neighbors makes it part of the public discourse and we can begin to understand one another better, as well as reflect on the ways that modern literature both represents and influences our society. 

An Evening with Lisa Wingate

Lisa Wingate, author of Before We Were Yours, will speak and sign books at the Forsyth Conference Center at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 26, 2024. This event is intended for adults and admission is free, but advance registration is requested.
