Dam Safety for North Georgia

There are more than 4,600 dams in Georgia; only four states (Texas, Kansas, Missouri and Oklahoma) have more dams. Out of these, 357 are watershed dams, with seventeen located in Forsyth County. With the abundance of watershed dams in the area, proper precautions and planning ensures that people and property remain safe.
