Tending the Wild
Call of the Wild Series
Sunday, June 09
2:00pm - 3:00pm
Discover what nature has to offer! Learn about plants abundant throughout the Southern Appalachian region that can be used as food, medicine, craft, shelter, and more. We will speak on how we can interact with these plants sustainably, ensuring future generations will be able to do the same.
Ever Wilder Farm is nestled in the Appalachian foothills of Gilmer County, GA. Caleb, Bethany, and their daughter produce naturally grown specialty produce and herbs for market. Ever Wilder is also a community hub for educational tours, workshops and more.
This program is a part of the Call of the Wild series at the Cumming Library. Call of the Wild celebrates the writings of Jack London and the wilderness survival themes in his works. Be sure to check out the rest of the programs in this fun summer series!
