Join us on a journey through nonfiction, one topic at a time. The BYO Book: Nonfiction Nook reading group will discuss Hurricane Katrina this month.
You don’t have to read a book to enjoy the discussion! But, if you’d like to read a book on this topic, here are our recommendations or ask your librarian for a suggestion.
About BYO Book: Nonfiction Nook
Not your typical book club! Join BYO Book for a casual, conversation-driven gathering where the theme changes monthly, but the passion for books stays the same. No assigned reading, just great discussions with fellow book lovers. We meet one Sunday a month at 2:00 p.m., alternating between the Nonfiction Nook (nonfiction topics) and the Literature Lounge (fiction genres).
Bring your thoughts, your curiosity, and maybe a title to recommend. Warning: your TBR list may get a lot longer!
September 21: Literature Lounge – Horror
