Come to the Denmark Library to make sugar skulls in celebration of Día de los Muertos for Hispanic Heritage Month! Learn about the cultural traditions practiced in Mexico for Día de los Muertos, "Day of the Dead", a holiday that honors the lives of deceased loved ones, then create a sugar skull inspired craft. All supplies are provided and no experience is needed.
This event is a part of Forsyth Creates, a library program that gives adults the opportunity to make hands-on projects that connect them with other creative members of their community.
This event will require event passes. Event passes are free and available to participants on the day of the program. They will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis starting 30 minutes before the event start time.
