Join Barry Stewart Mann and his friend Hoo-How the Owl as they share fascinating stories about the people and science behind some of our favorite things. In this program, you’ll hear about Marco Polo and the fireworks he found on his amazing journey to China.  You'll also delight in tales about the invention of soda, the origins of popcorn, and the brilliant teenage boy who helped make TV possible.  The program will be full of engaging visuals, props, costumes, and puppetry, with bits of music and plenty of audience participation.  There’ll be lots of popping, bubbly, effervescent, explosive fun!

Recommended for ages 4 and up.
