Kick off our newest crafting program for adults with us as part of Summer Reading Fun @ FCPL! This month we will be creating Artist Trading Cards. Attendees will use different mediums (colored pencil, marker, watercolor or acrylic paint) to create 3 Artist Trading Cards. Artists will then trade one finished card with other artists in the class.
Artist trading cards (ATCs) are miniature pieces of art that are traded around the world. They were originally initiated by a Swiss artist in 1997 as a conceptual art project. Since then, artists create cards unique to their artistic expression. They sign and date the cards and then swap them with other artists.
We will be working with paint, so be sure to wear appropriate clothing.
Advance registration is not required, but space and supplies are limited. This program is intended for adults only.
