Join authors Dr. Piper Huguley and Rona Simmons as they discuss the process of researching and writing historical fiction novels. Dr. Huguley has written two historical fiction romance series and By Her Own Design: a novel of Ann Lowe, Fashion Designer to the Social Register, the true story of Ann Lowe, the granddaughter of slaves and renowned fashion designer of Jackie Kennedy’s wedding dress. Rona Simmons is the author of The Quiet Room and A Gathering of Men, a novel based on the real account of three boys with a love for flying and the men they become, fighting for the US Army Air Forces in World War II.
