From stellar views to animal encounters, there are all kinds of adventures to be had on the Appalachian Trail! Robert "Bo" Bobinski will present on his personal adventures while hiking and working the AT, including the unusual things he has found on the trail in his capacity as Leave No Trace and Outdoor Ethics State Advocate.
About the Presenter
Robert "Bo" Bobinski's experience includes Appalachian Trail Maintainer, Appalachian Trail Ambassador, Leave No Trace Master Educator (Outdoor Ethics), Georgia State Advocate, Leave No Trace, and a teacher of outdoor education to students ranging from 5th grade–Graduate School. His hiking/backpacking experience includes GA State Parks, AT Sections in GA, NC, TN, VA, PA, NY, VT, ME, Adirondacks (NY), Foothills Trail (SC), Benton Mackaye Trail (GA & TN), Long Trail (VT), Paysayten Wildneress (WA), Glacier NP (MT), Mt Rainier NP (WA), Olympic NP (WA), Point Lobos (CA), Germany, Scotland and many more to come!
