Emily Matheis is the two-time, award-winning picture book author of Opal’s Springtime Birdhouse and a member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI). She is a romance writer and recipient of the Maggie Award in Contemporary Romance. Her newest book, How Santa Met His Reindeer, arrives Fall 2027 from Penguin Random House.
