Learn all about the amazing frogs you can find in Forsyth County! Join Master Naturalists Michelle Murphy and Winston Davis as they discuss general knowledge of frogs and toads, their importance to our environment, and in-depth information about the 14 frog species in our county. If the weather is good, we may take a walk outside to listen for frogs in our unique bioswale environment. This program is suitable for adults and high school students.
Michele Murphy earned a B.S. degree in Wildlife and Fisheries Biology from the University of Vermont. She has been a UGA extension volunteer for Forsyth County for the past ten years. Chairing the frog monitoring with the Forsyth County Master Naturalists has been one of her main interests. She is a chapter coordinator for the new FrogWatch group and a 4-H volunteer for wildlife education.
