Learn about Georgia’s Patriot women and their roles in shaping Georgia’s colonial history, including Mary Musgrove, General James Oglethorpe’s Native American Interpreter; Hannah Harrington Clarke, wife of Georgia Militia Leader Colonel Elijah Clarke; Mammy Kate, slave and rescuer of Georgia’s later Governor Stephen Heard; and Nancy Hart, a frontierswoman and spy. This program is being presented by the Chestatee River Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
