After years of stalemate in the North, the Revolutionary War shifted focus toward the South, leading to significant but under-studied military actions in the Appalachian region. In this lecture, Dr. Barry Whittemore examines these vital historical events, providing critical analysis and placing the southern highland campaigns within the larger strategic context of the Revolution.
