Novel Realities is a speculative fiction book club that explores uncharted realms and futuristic horizons through the power of literature and friendly discussion! If you crave adventure, strange discoveries, and trans-dimensional discourse, this is the book club for you!

This book club meets at the Sharon Forks Library at 7:00 p.m. on the second Thursday of every month. This month’s selection is The Age of Miracles by Karen Thompson Walker.

Speculative fiction is “a type of story or literature that is set in a world that is different from the one we live in, or that deals with magical or imagined future events” (Cambridge Dictionary). Speculative fiction is often used as an umbrella term for genre fiction or for narratives that do not fully belong in a particular science fiction or fantasy genre.
