World Food Day is an international day celebrated on October 16 that marks the founding of the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization. Each year, awareness is raised for more sustainable, resilient and inclusive agrifood systems. This year's topic is water.
UNG food justice students will present about important foods from different cultures, the role water plays in producing these foods, and how food justice affects our food system.
