Join us at the Hampton Park Library's Butterfly Garden to aid the Forsyth County Extension office in the Great Southeast Pollinator Census.
Participants will be asked to choose a favorite pollinator plant to count and identify the insects that land on the flowers of that plant for 15 minutes. You do not need to be an entomologist to partake; we ask for only basic insect identification and experts will be there to guide you.
The Great Southeast Pollinator Census is a citizen science project created by the University of Georgia. This project is designed for everyone to participate and make a difference in pollinator conservation! Please visit https://gsepc.org/ for more information on the census.
