Teen Tuesdays - Jurassic Pitch
For Teens in Grades 6–12
Tuesday, July 14
6:30pm - 7:30pm
The Challenge
In this "evolve or go extinct" workshop, you’ll brainstorm a revolutionary product, build a rapid-fire prototype from our stash of supplies, and prepare a pitch that would make a T-Rex tremble. Whether it’s a gadget for the modern world or a tool for the Mesozoic, your goal is to secure the only capital that matters: The Library’s Stamp of Approval.
How It Works
The Build: You’ll have limited time to turn raw materials into a "functional" prototype.
The Pitch: Step up to the Shush Tank and present your vision to our panel of stony-faced judges.
The Funding: Convince the "Raptors" to invest their (fake) library funds in your dream.
The Catch: Beware! Every deal comes with a 30-day checkout period—if your idea doesn't "return" results, you might just face a $0.20-a-day penalty from the librarians!
This program is for teens in grades 6–12.
This event will require event passes. Event passes are free and available to participants on the day of the program. They will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis starting 30 minutes before the event start time.
