Improv is a type of acting where scenes are made in real time by actors who do not have a script or prior plan. Unlike other types of acting, improv requires quick thinking and strong collaborative teamwork. It is a skill best built with lots of practice! This beginner friendly improv workshop will be led by local actor Tammilyn McGeehan. We will play several improv games to help get you comfortable and familiar with the genre.
Tammilyn McGeehan is a local actor who has participated in three improv shows, as well as a statewide competition. She held an officer position helping to teach improv classes to high schoolers for two years. She looks forward to continuing to spread the joy and fun of improvisation.
This program is for adults only. No acting experience required.
