Come to the Post Road Library to make an Illuminated Letter! This is a decorative way to embellish text so that it "lights up" the page. Illuminated letters were key features of historical illuminated manuscripts and were often further illustrated with images of animals and plants. These can be used as a decorative piece to hang in your home, or a way to add some beauty to letters or invitations you send in the mail.
